Scheduled for release on August 8th, 2025, the new FFTCG booster pack “Gunslinger in the Abyss” offers a variety of attractive cards, just like previous booster packs, ranging from centerpiece cards that form the backbone of your deck, to auxiliary cards that boost your current deck’s power. Limit Break—a feature now indispensable to FFTCG—is fleshed out even further, adding further variety of strategies to your deck.

Many characters will be making their first appearance in FFTCG. This includes the following from FINAL FANTASY XIV: The Twelve; The First Brood, which has been turned into cards for the very first time; and new Primals, who will now be joining in the battle. These cards are expected to not only greatly expand the game’s universe, but also give rise to new deck archetypes.

This edition will also come with 38 newly illustrated cards, the largest number in FFTCG history to date. As an extremely rare Special Card, we’ve included Bartz [26-053L], newly illustrated by Toshiyuki Itahana. This marks the first time Toshiyuki Itahana’s signature has been foil-stamped. This set is even more appealing to collectors than before and is sure to resonate with many FINAL FANTASY fans and existing players.

As the display box bonus, which packs in 1 card per box, we’ve included Vincent [PR-188/26-066L], which utilizes the same illustration shown on the packaging. Furthermore, the well-received Legacy Cards—full art cards from previous Legend Cards—continue to be featured. In this set, three types of cards are included: The Demon [20-007L], The Goddess [20-057L] and The Fiend [20-114L]. Special Cards and Legacy Cards can not only be added to your collection but can also be used as normal cards in tournaments.

☆ Card Count
• Normal: 130 cards
• Premium: 174 cards (of these, 42 are full art cards, one is a Special Card, and one is a Crystal Card)

♦ Specs
• One (1) pack contains 12 cards
• One (1) Display box contains 18 packs
• One (1) Premium Card included per pack

Starting with this set, the number of booster packs in one display box will be reduced in half to 18 packs. This is an effort to make the product more affordable to those who make consolidated purchases of entire box units.

The number of packs included in an inner carton will be 108 packs (6 display boxes), or half the number of packs compared to previous sets. The number of packs in a master carton will not change.

delightful read
Format: Kindle
What a delightful read. The characters are awesome, the plot was so good, I loved it. I was intrigued and it kept me wanting more. Told in multiple pov, the book sucks you in and doesn’t let go. I cannot wait to read the next book.

not bad
Format: Kindle
I loved the plot of this book. The characters just didn’t have a lot of depth. The connections and “love” just weren’t communicated very well in the writing. The author didn’t write the sweet psycho trope very well at all either. Lachlan was just a mess of a character.

A Beta Worth Rooting For
Format: Kindle
In Spare, Violet Fox flips the omegaverse on its head, giving us a Beta heroine determined to make her mark. Joining the Beta Trials to support her sick father, she's thrown into a pack that doesn't want her, especially the possessive Alphas. But here's the twist: their sweet Omega turns out to be her scent match. Cue the angst, forbidden tension, and a slow-burn romance that will make your heart ache in the best way. Violet Fox delivers an emotional, refreshing take on the genre, proving Betas aren't "spares." They're stars.

Beta, Alpha, Omega oh my!
Format: Kindle
Omegas are precious and given to Alphas & their packs... but the Betas want in too. To this end, the Beta government is rolling out its trial of assigning a Beta to each Alpha-Omega pack. But forcing a Beta into a pack where they are not wanted will not end well... Of course, no one expected the Omega to fall for the assigned Beta. Great read and cliffhanger

A familiar story, just with…..less.
Format: Kindle
So, as other reviewers make clear, this is very similar to Pack Darling and The Beta. It’s much closer aligned with The Beta, in plot and maybe more like Pack Darling with characters. That being said, I don’t hate this…..but it wasn’t great either. It’s both books mentioned but just….less. Less angst, less emotion, less feeling. The plot feels very half fleshed out, and the “bad guy” feels underwhelming. I didn’t really feel any real emotions from and of the male leads, except maybe Oliver. The others fell sorta flat for me. And Mika makes herself out to be this big bad ass straight outta training and then we never see it from here again with the one fitting room incident as the exception. SPOILER: The whole, “Oh, I’m actually probably an Omega, but I don’t wanna be but I do actually wanna be but no one can ever know my secret that I do nothing to hide “ thing fell so flat. She never commutes to believing she was secretly an omega, but also mentions her “secret” a lot. It just felt so manufactured. I’m intrigued enough to read part 2 and see how the author closes everything out, but this is not one I’ll recommend or ever come back to.
